Color lithograph "Soldiers' Memorial" for Company B, 3rd Regiment, Minnesota Volunteer Infantry, mustered into United States Service November 15th, 1861. by Captain A. D. Nelson, 10th Infantry U.S.A. at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Ehrgott, Forbriger & Co. Lithographers. Entered in year 1863 by J. W. Waterman in clerk's office of District Court of the Southern District of Ohio. Paragraphs at the top corners describe the history of the regiment, including activity on the frontier during the 1862 Indian Uprising and after. The lithograph poster lists Privates, Regimental Officers, Company Officers - Commissiond and Non-commissioned, Sergeants, Corporals, Musicians, Wagoner. Remarks include dates of death, discharge, promotion, desertions. Border has pictures of military life. |
