Businesses, beginning at right to left include, the Home Bakery, A & B Lunch, an insurance office in Baseman's Corner, Popp's Rexall Drugs, the Greyhound Bus stop and the American Legion Lounge in the hotel, Hayden's Shoes, Brauns, and Citizens Bank.
Continuing counterclockwise is Library Square, H.E. Bolduc's bar, and H.A. Dobratz Sons Floor Covering and Fine Furniture.
When Henry A. Dobratz (1872-1944) founded his furniture store and chapel in 1911 he was already the third generation of his family to call Hutchinson home. His parents had taken refuge in the stockade during the Dakota Conflict. His sons, Floyd (1899-1969) and Donald (1905-1990), continued the family business.
